Our purpose brings 40-50,00 square feet of hands-on
experiences to the Inland Empire Region
Families & tourists travel all over California in search of world-class hands-on, interactive educational entertainment in the sciences and humankind. Some families travel out of the country, across the globe to quince their thirst for learning. They travel to South and East Africa, parts of Europe, Asia and Australia, as well as the Americas and Antarctica.
Many Children in schools in the USA do not perform as well in the sciences as childern in other countries. Nevertheless, many of our families and children and community members cannot travel to these locations. What would it take to bring such hands-on, interactive experiences right here close to home?
The DiscoverTorium proposes to bring 40-50,000 square feet of such experiences to the Inland Empire Region and exemplify advanced state of the art and technology, including roof tops and ground level space with solar panels, roof tops with green natural landscaping, and LED lighting inside and outside the building structures that will, by design, impact our carbon footprint.

San Francisco’s Exploratorium ( a leader in interactive science museums ) has been acting as a coach for the DiscoverTorium Board of Directors as we fashion our Master Plan. Their support is critical in this effort. The DiscoverTorium’s Board of Directors believes an interactive, hands-on exhibit program has broad possibilities in the Inland Empire.
