Our Mission & Vision
The DiscoverTorium’s vision is to provide a hands-on, interactive science and humankind museum center in the Inland Empire Region that engages the imagination and curiosity of children and life-long learners through exciting exploration and discovery via the personal use of exhibits about the life sciences, the physical sciences and humankind.
To engage the imagination and curiosity of children and life-long learners through exploration, discovery and the personal use of interactive, virtual and hands-on exhibits about science and humankind, anchored in sustainable environmental practices and attractive across generations. The proposed museum will be a 40-50,000 square foot space offering more than 300 research-based, results-focused, experiences anchored in how people learn. They will be exhibits that provide insights into the sciences and culture, archaeological and paleoanthropology experiences and society. Through objective, engaging and entertaining presentations, The DiscoverTorium Museum encourages people of diverse backgrounds to examine the scientific, sociological and environmental forces that affect our lives, as well as to become informed participants in shaping inquiry-based thinking.

- Offer playful interactive learning experiences in the sciences and humankind that support children as they design, build, create, and explore personal ways of awakening their wonder, what ifs, and curiosity.
- Serve as an exciting resource to educators where their curiosity meets discovery and wonder that enhance their pedagogy and curricular content immersed in relevant issues-based exploration and collaborative relationships through the museum’s programs.
- Provide participatory problem-based experiences, and discoveries and simulations of paleoanthropological settings from around the world, including Australia, Chile, China, Ethiopia, Spain, France, Kenya, Mexico, South Africa, and the America.
- Bring intrigue, interest, fun & entertainment for local, national & global visitors to the Inland Empire region.
